All-star Readers
In Benton Harbor several local “celebrities” showed Benton Harbor students that reading really is important during Benton Harbor Charter School Academy’s eighth annual Celebrity Reading Day on Monday February 29, 2016.
“It’s an opportunity for kids to see people in the community in various capacities showing that reading is essential to all of these professions,” said Willie Mitchell, treasurer of the school’s board of directors.
